The mission of Adult Basic Education is to provide adults with educational opportunities to acquire and improve academic skills necessary to effectively participate as productive workers, family members, and citizens. Serving the residents of the Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond.

- GED Test Preparation includes instruction in all four of the GED content areas. We also offer free GED Practice Tests for our students to build confidence for taking the Official GED.
- Math Bootcamp 1 & 2, these are 6 week courses to prepare you for the Math portion of the GED. Registration is throughout the year and placement is dependent on ability.
- Brush Up on the Basics - These classes are open to adults who want to improve basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- English as a Second Language - Need to improve your English skills? We offer Burlington English instruction for English Language Learners. Online and in person whatever fits your needs.
- Northstar Digital Certification - In coordination with other ABE classes, students can improve computer skills with online tutorials and proctored assessments. Earn a Nationally recognized Northstar Certificate to verify your computer skills to prospective employers.
**Enrollment requires in person completion of an intake, assessments and orientation**
Enrollment begins August 21st and classes begin September 5th and continue throughout the school year. Monday-Thursday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
