Students who bring the Chromebook home are expected to charge them every night and bring them to school every morning.
Before being given the Chromebook, all students must do the following:

To help support the use and maintenance of this device families of students in grades 7-12 need to complete the following:
- Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal

- Pay the $25 Chromebook Non-refundable Tech Deposit for the 2025-2026 school year.
- This is the same process if you have registered your child for a fall activity. Below is the link of a step by step video that Mr. Magnuson did for activities, explaining how to register, instead of picking a fall sport you will just choose Computer Fee.
- As outlined in the Pequot Lakes Schools Handbook, this $25 fee is required for each student in grades 7-12, and it helps cover accidental damage or necessary repairs throughout the year.
- Students can pay with cash on the day they receive their Chromebook.
- Please complete the form as soon as possible to ensure your child gets a device. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact the school office.
Have a 5th or 6th Grader? (Follow These Steps)
Because Chromebooks don't go home with our 5th and 6th graders, families only need to complete their insurance form.

While there is a lot of technology out there, PL only supports district-owned technology that has been identified as "supported" in technology planning.
